I faced a high-stakes challenge—breaking into the fiercely competitive international VAS (Value Added Services) ecosystem, where most global telcos operated within a closed circle of legacy content providers backed by long-standing, exclusive relationships. With no brand equity, zero operator access, and limited financial muscle, I had to disrupt this entrenched network, win the trust of operators across continents, and prove AIS Digitech’s value—fast. The goal wasn’t just entry, but profitable, scalable growth in one of the toughest markets in digital services.
My Action:
I designed a high-impact go-to-market strategy grounded in innovation, persistence, and sharp execution:
- Crafted our “Right to Win” with two powerful levers:
- An AI-powered contesting platform offering engaging daily reward journeys tailored for telco users.
- Strategic relationships with key aggregators, who helped position us positively with their telco partners.
- Personally led outreach across Africa, MENA, APAC, and Eastern Europe, presenting our platform’s compliance, performance, and revenue potential.
- Onboarded international affiliate publishers to drive digital traffic and subscriptions via performance marketing.
- Took full ownership of pricing, product roadmap, partnerships, and revenue delivery—treating this as a startup within a startup.
